* This may not apply to a rate that (i) is on a website or app that does not disclose the brand or hotel until the reservation is made; (ii) is determined via an auction; (iii) is for the hotel component of a package booking; (iv) is for a booking that does not provide an immediate confirmation; (v) has been negotiated by the hotel and is not available to the general public (e.g., corporate rates, government rates, promotional rates, travel agent rates, industry rates, and membership rates); (vi) requires a login, credit card number, or a code to see; (vii) is on a website or app that does not give the ability to book a reservation; (viii) is for a reservation that is not authorized to be transferred (such as a guest “reselling” a confirmed reservation); (ix) is on a website or app that is in an unsupported language; or (x) is lower due to the currency exchange rate and/or rounding applied.
